Starting now, we're planting a native tree for every home we sell.

Why native trees?

Native trees belong here. Think live oaks, longleaf pines, magnolias, and a variety of elms, maples and oaks. They're adapted to our coastal Carolina soil and weather, so they need less water and upkeep once they're established. They also give food and shelter to local birds, pollinators and wildlife. A native tree keeps growing in value long after closing day.

When your sale closes, you get to decide where your tree goes:

• In your yard. We'll plant a native tree at your new home. It's a living housewarming gift that grows up alongside your family.
• In the community. A young tree needs regular watering and care for its first few years. If that's not a commitment you want to take on, no problem. We'll plant your tree with our partners at the Alliance for Cape Fear Trees, and it will help grow the tree canopy across our region.

Either way, your home sale leaves something good behind. We are commited to the future beauty and environmental health of our area, and we care about keeping the Cape Fear region green, shaded and beautiful for years to come. Every closing is a reason to celebrate, and now every closing will also plant something that lasts.
